Overview:
The Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) toolkit is intended to assist public health and/or child welfare programs in their efforts to implement trauma-informed practices and approaches for schools and policy actions that could occur through the LCAP process to improve resiliency among school-age children and youth.
Learning Objectives:
At the end of this session, attendees will be able to:
- 1. Understand California’s Local Control Accountability Plan
- 2. Identify trauma-informed practices/approaches recommendations useful for schools
- 3. Understand how to engage in the LCAP process to pass policy that improves resiliency among school-age children
