This Student Showcase features presentations from two Safe States’ student members – Jeanette Jacobs and Hannah Rochford.
The first presentation will be on teaching critical health literacy and taking an upstream approach in recognizing health education as a component of social justice education.
The second presentation will highlight a series of longitudinal policy analyses that consider (1) provisions shaping Medicaid eligibility for parents, and (2) provisions shaping access to long-acting reversible contraceptives for Medicaid beneficiaries with children as potential vehicles for preventing some forms of child maltreatment.
