Overview:

This Peer Learning Call is in partnership with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). It focuses on providing information about suicide loss and sharing ways to support individuals and communities that have been impacted. We will talk about resources available, including International Survivor of Suicide Loss day, AFSP Loss and Healing programs and materials and other resources. Following the presentation we will have a facilitated discussion around this topic.

Participants will:

1. Be able to identify how a suicide death can impact individuals and communities

2. Understand the unique aspects of suicide loss in terms of individual and community level impact.

3. Learn about AFSP resources that are available for suicide loss survivors.
