While health equity has long been a priority for Safe States, in recent years we’ve placed additional emphasis on that commitment, commissioning and facilitating the Anti-racism and Health Equity Work Group, providing equity-related professional development opportunities and resources, and aligning our 2022-2024 strategic priorities around elevating the field of injury and violence prevention (IVP) through an anti-racism and health equity lens.
